Starting on the right foot

Last Friday,we started 3rd semester.

On that day, all the junior high school students ventured out of the school to help clean the local area.

It’s important to start the term on the right foot, and by helping to clean the areas around the school, we hope to encourage our students to become a positive influence on the community.

Each class was assigned a different area for garbage collection. For some this meant gathering fallen leaves by the bagful. For others, tongs were required for removing rubbish that wasn’t disposed of properly.

Despite any difficulty or unpleasantness in the task, it was a great chance for the students to practice some real-life teamwork and help the local community in the process.

Happily, all the students rose to the challenge and did their best together.
